Körber Logistics at LogiMAT 2019

End-to-end logistics provider for the optimized flow of goods and information

Smart products and solutions from a single source: At LogiMAT 2019, Körber Logistics (Hall 1, Stand C16) and its subsidiaries Voiteq (Hall 8, Stand D15) and Inconso (Hall 8, Stand D55) will present themselves as an end-to-end logistics provider - offering a comprehensive range of products capable of managing the entire logistics network. The focus of the main exhibition stand in Hall 1 will be on flexible and scalable robotics applications, along with their bespoke software solutions - all specifically designed for handling fast-moving consumer goods. At its stand and in its presentations, Körber Logistics will also be offering a preview of future demands and solutions in the field of logistics.

The trade show presentation of Körber Logistics in Hall 1 will focus on a variety of products and solutions that underline the company's strong position in material handling, robotics applications, and software solutions. Among these will be its autonomous Layer Picker® Solutions, whose modularity, flexibility and scalability will be demonstrated to illustrate how easily the system can be adapted to customer requirements. In addition, various software solutions will be employed to highlight how the companies under the Körber Logistics umbrella are skillfully combining their hardware and software expertise to manage the flow of both goods and information optimally.

Körber Logistics will also provide trade show visitors with insights into the visionary ideas and concepts which the company's digitization experts are intensively executing. "While working on these projects, we have consistently focused our new products and solutions on our customers. Of course, this also means that we are collaborating with our customers in developing these digital solutions, and rigorously aligning them to their needs," explains Hubert Kloß, Chief Executive Officer of Körber Logistics Systems GmbH. The Körber Logistics team of experts will be discussing the progress of these use cases with logistics contacts at the trade fair stand. They will also provide insights into the future of logistics, point out areas where action needs to be taken, and present Körber Logistics initiatives. This will include integrated concepts for comprehensive logistics network control and solutions that extend to shipment tracking down to the last mile.

Two presentations at LogiMAT will also deal with the visions of Körber Logistics for the future. On February 19, 2019, Pano Papamanoglou, Chief Technology Officer at Körber Logistics Systems GmbH, will give a talk on the proliferation of smart robotics and in particular about the challenges this poses for supply chains. In her presentation titled "Market Pull & Technology Push" on February 21, 2019, Dr. Kerstin Höfle, Head of Technology Management at Körber Logistics Systems GmbH, will explore the best way to combine customer requirements with sound technological know-how, in order to make innovation possible.
