Two of the six Körber Logistics Systems companies have received new names during the course of the ongoing process of integration into the Business Area. Efacec Handling Solutions S.A., specialists in automation projects from Portugal, changed its name to Consoveyo S.A. at the beginning of April 2017. The Danish company Qubiqa A/S, a leading provider of de-palletizing systems, has been operating under the name of Riantics A/S since the beginning of May.

Consoveyo, with headquarters in Porto, has been part of the Business Area Logistics Systems since 2015, which belongs to the international technology group Körber. The company is a system integrator of automation projects in intralogistics and provider of automated conveyor systems and storage systems. The range includes high-bay warehouses, distribution centers and order processing systems. A particular strength is its in-house mechanics and hardware solutions. Consoveyo serves customers in Europe and Asia and has locations in Portugal, Spain, Belgium, the Czech Republic, India and Singapore.

Riantics A/S from Arden in Denmark is a leading provider of de-palletizing systems and has also been part of the Business Area Logistics Systems since 2016. The company also develops and manufactures innovative products and solutions for the implementation of fully automated storage and distribution, material flow systems as well as palletizing systems, and provides the corresponding life-cycle service. Its patented Layer Picker® solutions and the expertise of its engineers make Riantics the global market leader in the field of layer de-palletizing.

“The re-naming of both companies is an important step for the integration into our Business Area,” stresses Hubert Kloss, Chief Executive Officer of Körber Logistics Systems. “We are currently merging six leading and internationally well-placed companies under our umbrella brand of Körber Logistics. We are thus continuously expanding our portfolio.”
